Gas Valve Selection Guide
LP and Natural Gas Brass Ball
Valves
These ball valves are CSA
certified for use with low pressure natural gas and (LP) liquid petroleum
gas applications. The body and stem are brass and the ball is chrome plated
brass.

Installations Instructions:
Step 1: Use black gas pipe
only from gas source and wrap Teflon tape on male pipe ends to fitting.

Step 2: Using a pipe wrench tighten only enough to seal assembly.
Step 3: Use a flexible CSA certified steel gas connector hose to connect
to appliance. Never use pipe dope or Teflon tape on flexible steel gas
connector lines. (B)
Step 4: To check for leaks use liquid soap and water in a spray bottle
and apply to connection points tighten as necessary.
Lester Says: "Always replace flexible connector
when replacing a gas appliance. Do not reuse steel flexible gas connectors".

1.Designed for use with low
pressure natural or liquid petroleum products.
2.Check appliance manufactures
guidelines for recommended pressures and temperatures to make sure these
valves meet the requirements of your application.
3.Use Black Pipe or the appliances'
OEM supplied tubing only to deliver natural or LP gas to valve.
